​AAF provides travel grants designed to close that gap — making global experiences attainable for students with financial need and a clear purpose for being there.

Going abroad involves more than booking a flight. For many students — especially those doing it without a roadmap — the process itself is a barrier: applications, cultural preparation, logistics, and the quiet anxiety of stepping into unfamiliar territory.

At AAF, community is at the heart of what we're building. We connect students with Community Champions — alumni and professionals who've been there — who may offer guidance, encouragement, and real-world perspective at every stage. What that relationship looks like is defined by the Champion and the student together.

Over 80% of alumni don't feel connected to their alumni networks — yet many want to give back. They just haven't been given a meaningful way to do it.
